Adelaide Careers and Employment EXPO
The team makes a memorable debut at Adelaide Careers and Employment EXPO
A team effort for our first expo
The excitement at the Adelaide Showground on May 10 and 11, 2024, was noticeable as Stevens Group made their first appearance at the Adelaide Careers and Employment EXPO. It marked a significant milestone for us as it was the first time our company participated in this important event.
The success of our presence at the expo can be attributed to the fantastic teamwork and dedication that went into pulling together the design and activities. It was truly a collective effort that brought our vision to life.
Inspiring the next generation eager to learn
Our colleagues showcased immense enthusiasm in engaging with individuals keen on exploring opportunities in the structural steel industry. For many, it was their first introduction to our company, and we relished the chance to make a lasting impression.
Friday saw a flurry of activity with school groups flooding in, eager to learn more about our offerings. Saturday, albeit with fewer visitors, provided an opportunity for deeper and more meaningful conversations. We connected with teenagers navigating the maze of career choices, helping them discover their passions and chart their career paths.
Getting hands on and building relationships
Our virtual welding machine emerged as a crowd favourite and our drafting team found themselves deeply involved in conversations with engineering enthusiasts.
The expo served as a platform to showcase Stevens Group's capabilities and rich experience in the structural steel industry. We seized the opportunity to not only exhibit our expertise but also to foster connections and inspire the next generation of talent.
Adelaide expo success
As the curtains drew to a close on the event, we departed with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that we had successfully left our mark in the minds of those we encountered. Stevens Group looks forward to future engagements where we can continue to make meaningful contributions to the career aspirations of individuals across Adelaide and beyond.
